A Note From The Pastor – Deceember 2025

December 2, 2025 By Robin Lloyd Leave a Comment

Christ is Born, For You

The business of the Christmas season is upon us! Amidst all the shopping, and decorating, and planning, let’s not forget this truth: Christ was born for you! Have you stopped to consider lately that Jesus knows you, as an individual? You’re not just a grain of sand on the beach, or a number in the vast system. No, Jesus knows you and I as individuals. He knows our family dynamics. He knows our challenges and burdens. And yes, He knows our sins.

And so, Christmas is a time to remember that the Savior of the world has come to be born to die to raise and to reign. He has not left us in the darkness of our depravity. So come, partake of the good news!

These last couple days I’ve been enjoying one of my favorite Christmas songs. It’s a modern take on “O Come All Ye Faithful” put out by Sovereign Grace Music. It’s called, “O Come, All You Unfaithful.” It’s a beautiful song; check it out if you’re unfamiliar with it. The call of the song is to “come all you unfaithful, come, see what your God has done” with the reminder that “Christ is born, for you.”

Don’t let the business take away from the truth you need to hear! Christ was born for you, to die for you, because He loves you and desires peace with you. As the song says, “His promise is peace for those who believe.” It’s true! Christ is our peace with God! The Scripture tells us,

“For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility” (Ephesians 2:14-16).

O Come, all you unfaithful. Christ is born, for you!

In Christ,

Pr. Alex
