Rally Sunday
Get ready to don your brightest smiles, for the eagerly awaited Rally Sunday is just around the corner! On September 10th, with Sunday School at 9:30 and Worship at 10:30, we kick start a new season of fellowship, growth, and service as we come together to launch our church programs for the year.
Rally Sunday is a celebration of the unity we have as a church body and a chance to invigorate our spirits as we embark on an exciting journey of learning as a body of believers about our Lord Jesus. Here’s what you can expect on this kickoff Sunday and the ministries that will begin:
Worship like Never Before: Join us as we come together for a heartwarming worship service that promises to uplift your soul. Experience the power of collective prayer and praise as we come together in reverence and gratitude singing from our hearts to the Lord.
Connect and Reconnect: Rally Sunday is an excellent opportunity to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. Our church is comprised of people with diverse backgrounds and stories. This day allows us to begin new friendships and find support among a body of believers.
Engage in Opportunities to Learn: Our church programs are designed to enrich your spiritual journey. Our Youth program is already serving our 5th and 6th graders in Club 56 and Youth Group for the 7th grade through High School. Rally Sunday begins additional ministry: From Sunday School classes that includes all ages to Confirmation instruction for our 8th and 9th graders, to weekly Bible studies, Rally Sunday marks the beginning of a season filled with opportunities for personal growth and deeper understanding of our Lord.
Serving Others: As we launch our programs, we also emphasize our commitment to service. Rally Sunday reminds us of the importance of reaching out to those in need and spreading kindness in our community.
Family Fun and Fellowship: Invite families and friends to Rally Sunday and enjoy a day of fellowship around a BBQ meal after the service with inflatable games for the children and youth on the West church lawn. This meal is not a pot luck but is completely prepared and provided by our Parish Education Committee. In this way, our church family extends its arms to include everyone, ensuring that Rally Sunday is a delight for all ages.
